Again satanism is the only religion that is not occult. Happens to be a fact and LaVeyans are very open about that. LaVey satanism is atheistic and laughs at all things occult. very good. I know the 7 tenets of what they are about promote justice, compassion, science and they fight for human rights and things like that a lot
So, like any "religion", the underlying values can vary GREATLY from one version to another, and from one practitioner to another. The same could be said of Christian churches/organizations.
Some versions of Satanism are very different than TST appears to be (at least from what I'm reading), and compassion is not something that is valued or practiced in all Satanist organizations.
