I am saying there are people who choose to be loving and compassionate regardless of whatever storm or darkness or situation or circumstance they find themselves in.
True

I avoid these folks like the plague!

If you see horrors then be someone who plants goodness kindness love and compassion.
I do every single day...it' comes natural for me.

Not true for all humans. And as you just stated "there are people who are bitter and cynical no matter how good things are around them" I will add there are horrid soulless humans as well. It does not take much to look around and find them...they are all around us.

Nothing as I already understand there are good, bad and evil souls that I exist with on earth. Now I could wear blinders and pretend that's not true but I don't like living in deception...that can be very dangerous for oneself.

Thanks for the lecture but my life is sweet because I create it that way and I am innately a happy go lucky soul.
Im not sure what you're saying. Remove emotion? Both compassion and loving kindness are directly related to our ability to feel, to our emotions.
And a person with no emotion well that's a sociopath:
"A sociopath is incapable of feelings such as empathy, regret, and remorse. He doesn't experience emotional pain himself; thus, he can't understand the expression of those feelings in others. Sociopaths don't have feelings or emotions, nor do sociopaths cry genuinely."
Maybe you can clarify Arach what you mean by "remove all emotion"
I mean just that, remove emotion or lessen it by 90%.
we classify a sociopath as having no emotion or empathy. No people with emotion then there would be no classification of soepath. they would be normal.
If people did not have any emotion we would have no hate, envy, jealousy and what not.
there would be no greed, the single biggest threat to hope I know. well, maybe anti-religious socialism is the biggest, but greed is close.

No......if emotion was removed there would be MORE sociopaths.
Loving kindness and compassion are the gold standard. You are saying get rid of them.
Are you not able to see why loving kindness and compassion are the gold standard?
Can you really not see the problem with removing emotion?
It's like saying "if athletes suffer broken legs the solution is to cut off everyone's legs then there will be no more broken legs."
Or "the solution to domestic abuse is make every man a eunuch. " Arach that's the logic you're using.

I mean, if nobody had legs then there would be no broken legs. But we would need a mode of transportation. if we made every man docile then maybe there would be no husband abuse. I am not saying its right or wrong, I am just stating it as matter of fact.
I see too much love as debilitating with everything else staying the same. If everything was loving the illusion of free choice would be gone. We would be purely instinctual.
I've been reading all these near death experiences the last few days : Exceptional Experiences,There's so many and they all say the same thing overwhelming unconditional love, happiness, light, complete compassion
That they never want to leave.I tried today to look on everyone with the same sweet love and complete compassion, seeing everyone as part of one another, but found it not easy at all, I was judging everyone etc but I made an effort. Why doesn't this come naturally to us,why is earth nothing like heaven? Why is it rife with judgement, hate etc.
Why isn't the Earth compassionate and loving? Because creatures on the Earth are forced to eat each other to survive. Too much compassion leads to starvation. And certain creatures are just naturally tasty.

Sounds as if you are describing the political realm of ponerology.
