Does this mean anything to you? I mean, as far as 'image'?
Here we are with a brain that has 1 thought, and that 1 thought forms a 'tree'...and that 'tree' is made up of neurons (cells).
And you have around 100 trillion of these 'trees' in your brain.. and each 'tree' is capable of growing 70,000 branches each....able to store 3 million years of memory.(information)
Does 'image' have another or expanded meaning to you?
His image is complete. It is said when a man and a woman have sex they are in the image of God; otherwise, we are merely halves of the equation.
To me, made in His image and likeness means "Created in His imagination and having an imagination like His." There is a difference between "existing" and "living" that is defined by a consciousness and self-reflection. Suffering is unique to conscious self-reflection which requires imagination. All life exists but not all life is self-reflective (a living soul).
That gave me a few strange images of what god might look like.
There are some creations that can replicate without a partner, or they can switch out/over.
Interestingly, the next in line to the Queen Ant can be a male that will, in turn, activate it's female gender thus becoming female and the kingdom continues.
Humans do, but would not have "looked like us." I was addressing anatomically modern humans. That would have been well in hand long before 6- 8,000 years ago or so. Humans DID look like modern humans then.
Oh great, now I'm seeing this god with six legs or maybe 12. Depending on how he's doing it to himself.
BTW, I have a tendency to make a joke out of everything so I better not comment on this anymore.
Cheers,
Aeroman
That settles it.
GOD is Lakshmi.
