No, Israel means “one who fought or struggled with G-d”...
Well, The word derives from the Hebrew biblical word “Yiśrāʾēl > Yisra'el”, meaning “God contended”. The patriarch Jacob was given the name Yisrael "Triumphant with God", "who prevails with God" after he wrestled with the angel (Genesis 32:28 and 35:10). Other possible meanings include "the prince of God" (from the King James Version) or "El fights / struggles". Jacob's descendants came to be known as the Israelite's, eventually forming the tribes of Israel and ultimately the kingdom of Israel, from whence the name of modern day Israel.

So, it doesn’t mean, “he will rule as G-d”, right?...I was hoping you’d give a better translation...
You got all you're getting for now. Need to work off all this Chinese food from yesterday and the leftovers I finished off this morning.
