I didn't see a spiritual subforum so I hope I am posting in the right place.
I have been on the spiritual path for 10 years since having my awakening. I am always on the lookout for things like this. What would Christians and other religions think of these messages?
Looking online for God is silly, but a site humorously claiming to be "The New Message From God" really takes the cake.
I'm with going into nature. The closer you get to nature, and away from mankind, the more likely you might encounter and "hear" God. That's not pantheism, but purifying oneself to a location where conditions might be best. And that's going from personal experience too. Surrounded by people and stuff; typically nothing. In a beautiful area with no sign of man in sight; subtle and deliberate communications. Getting away from stagnation and noise, and towards freshness and dynamism, are key.
Seek God yourself. You'll never find him through other people.

Meh. As soon as someone starts talking about warning humanity about the future and having the answer to save everyone, that's fear-mongering, and I start tuning out. I tried to read some of the site, but it's very repetitive and not forthcoming about anything other than that there's a "new message" without ever coming to the point of what the "new message" is. It talks a good game about everyone has knowledge within themselves (I agree) but then says we need a Messenger, presumably someone outside of ourselves. Or maybe that's not what they're saying. Who knows, it meanders on and on and on without ever getting to the point.

I wasn't impressed by the site (see post above), but if you can share what you think the messages are that are being shared there, people might be more willing to share their thoughts on them?

can you define *spiritual* to a nonbeliever and make it make sense?
I got a new message from God this morning! It said "Begin Again".
How come it didn't give this message to everyone in the world?
