When faith guarantees you a place in paradise then what significant purpose of life is left?
This thread confuses individual purpose with our species' purpose. We each direct our individual lives with separate purposes based on myriad factors. But if there is a purpose for our species to exist (God), that generic purpose would not determine our individual purposes and would be the same for all of us. My view is that we are to reproduce God's consciousness because that is what children do.

No, I think this thread by the Muslim GoCardinals was about Protestant Evangelical mantras bothering, harassing, and manipulating GoCardinals into distraction with their "salvation through faith-only" false, twisted, and slanderous mantras. They don't care about the bad implications of it or of their religion, it is merely a marketing strategy. Those Televangelists and otherwise know that "faith" isn't free and includes a ton of tiring work, just like self-deception does.
As such, he tried to dismantle through implication the fake idea; and strawman all of Christianity with it. But Christians do not philosophize themselves into Christian religions.
It was about the theological/divine purpose of the individual and of the human species once you or all of the human species already have/has "faith."
If heavenly paradise for yourself was the ultimate goal (which is the main reason why you would Pascalesquely switch to a "faith only" religion or personal faith), then real worldly life after faith would only be stumbling block and you'd want to die "properly" as soon as possible or protect your faith by seclusion from the world as a Christian monk or hermit or something.

No one is ALL one thing. We are the accumulation of our thoughts, feelings, and actions over our lifetime - good, bad, and indifferent. The bad will be refined out in the consuming fire of God's love through reaping whatever we have sowed and then experiencing regret, remorse, and self-condemnation.

The phenotypes would not be conducive to dying before reproduction unless it is phenotypically beneficial to the population as a whole.
For example, a 'depressed' cell will commit apoptosis. Signals and such.
