I thought china was a religious free state? or at least they didn't pay any mind to it? Wow, I didn't know what I didn't know.
yes, when we our beliefs are directly evaluated next to other claims that seem to be more valid we tend to start in on the person. Right after thats woo, you don't listen for god, not a real atheist or not a real theist, and a host of other tactics.
Good luck to you.
Falun Gong is a cultivation practice and not a religion, and often the discussion that happens is where many people do not know what cultivation is so they claim to know (even they have not read the teaching) that Falun Gong is a religion.
About CCP they "fear" Falun Gong because there are now more practitioners within China then it is members of CCP. And China is known for pushing down any religious or spiritual views. Just look at how they treat Buddhist monks in Tibet. Or Uyghurs.
But Falun Gong is all about Truthfulness, Compassion, and forbearance (Shen, Shan, Ren)

I am Leary of "its not a religion." I hear that a lot from people, including atheist. I guess if it doesn't match the definition in a book you would be right.
you mean the leaders of any state or statement of belief about god (YES/NO) fear openly discussing the best truths we have? They fear openly comparing what they say versus what other people say?
Again i found a forum where "funny" comments are a norm i see.
I am not even going to try explain any more about What or how spiritual practice works because I see it backfire every time.
So yet again, a waste of time in a forum. I ask the Admin to remove my profile.

Shouldn't be necessary, just stop posting. I take it that tolerance and patience are not virtues cultivated under Falon Gong?
I friggen can't win, I put the green face in there so it wouldn't look like I was challenging him. I was agreeing with him.
Arach, this is just a guess on my part... but I wonder if there may have been some cultural differences at play in how language and/or emojis are interpreted? So that "...You don't say ..." might have perceived as "laughing at you, and not with you?"
In any event, it's too bad they went away that fast. I don't know that this forum is packed with Falun Gong practitioners, but it's always interesting to learn new things.

Sorry to hear that. There are a few asshats here, but a lot more who would be genuinely interested to understand and learn more.
