The poll includes those that used to attend synagogues, mosques and temples. It seems that the reduction in religious adherence is now like a snowball, and gathering speed every year. Many, like me, see this as a good thing. Others will be very concerned.

With the amount of information at our fingertips, I'm surprised there are as many people still in church as there are, to be honest.

Woohoo!
Now fewer people can use religion as an excuse to be sexual prudes and/or deny evolution. I wonder how this will affect our individual energy, mortgage, healthcare costs etc.?!

I suggest you look at the graph provided, and you'll see it's a steady trend over quite a few years, not a sudden shift.
