The last coffin they found like this turned out to be fake too. The guys who created it went to prison from what I remember.

It’s a serious inquiry, if it is real, how will believers reconcile the fact their “savior” may have been married and may have had a child. If that was missing from the bible, what other facts may have been omitted?

It looks like the people jumping off to claim it as a fake are in the “believer” category as they have more to lose. My opinion of course.
Sorry to assume you were jumping on me, this can be a touchy subject. I have no doubt that lots of things have been left out of the bible, this may be one of them.

They are talking about the same box I assume, both about James. I guess there is new evidence about the writing on it.

This is absolutely ridiculous, totally false and all sensationalism, completely erroneous, unsubstantiated and not worth speaking about. Just another stupid way to jump on the Dan Brown train for $$$. Just another open attack against Christianity by sick, evil liberals, and non-believers.

Ok...I'm a believer! And I do not believe they found the remains of Jesus because I believe he arose from death. And he wasn't entombed in a family burial place either. The Gospel According to St. Matthew states that a rich man, Joseph of Arimathea, asked for the body of Jesus and Pilate had the body delivered to him. He had the body prepared for burial and "laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock:" (Matthew 27:57-60) Therefore, Jesus was buried In Joseph of Arimathea's tomb -- not in one built by Joseph, Mary or his brothers.

I believe my Bible.

I know anyone that believes completely in the bible will draw that conclusion. I for one have an opened mind to it and if it is proven true would change alot of things. I do not think there is anything evil about it. Some just seek the truth, no matter what it turns out to be. Dan Brown wrote a fictitious book based on lots of research, this has nothing to do with him or his book.
