After homosexualism then what will be acceptable? Having sex with your parents? With your pet? There has to be boundaries in society.
Islam, Christianity & Judaism expressly prohibit same-sex relationships. From Islam :

The story of prophet Lot, on whom be peace, finds mention in several Qur'anic passages, especially Chapter 26:160-175 which reads: "The people of Lut rejected the apostles. Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (God)? "I am to you an apostle worthy of all trust. "So fear God and obey me. "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the lord of the Worlds. So We delivered him and his family,- all Except an old woman who lingered behind. But the rest We destroyed utterly. And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might Most Merciful."

Interesting how the story of Lot and Sodom and Gomorrah has changed from the Jewish story to the Christian story to the Islamic story over time.
Does the Islamic version still have Lot offering up his two virgin daughters to be gang-raped by the mob? Is there anything left of the original Jewish story which was mainly about inhospitality to strangers in Abrahamic times?
I don't agree with left-handedness. It is a sinful lifestyle and clearly unnatural and against God's wishes. You even want to teach our children in schools that the left-handed lifestyle is okay. Well it's not. You left-handers want to prey upon young children to make them left-handed just like you. It's sickening and disgusting. What's next? People will be using their mouths or their noses or even their feet if we allow the left-handed agenda to have their way.

Lefthandedness is a lifestyle choice and if you pray really really hard, God will help you to choose the righteous natural righthanded lifestyle. See? even the word "righteous" has the word "right" in it. That's because right-handedness is "right" and lefthandedness is wrong. God is "righteous" not "lefteous".

This is 100% correct. I am not 100% sure where I stand on the Biblical passages against homosexuality, but many fundamentalist Christians are so repelled by the thought of being with somebody of their own sex that they make it into some super-sin when Biblically it is really no worse than those little white lies you tell all the time and think nothing of. I have heard many preachers say things like homosexuality is worse than murder, or when somebody has same sex attraction that means they are in the deepest depravity possible for a human being, and can no longer be redeemed. This type of distortion to fit is why so many gay teens and young adults, especially those in conservative families or conservative small towns, attempt suicide.
I completely agree. This kind of attitude is not only sanctimonious it is DANGEROUS and leads to young people attempting suicide or going into deep depression . Self Denial is dangerous because who you truly are always come back to the surface.
Having to live with guilt and moral and mental slef flagellation must be awful.
Especially guilt which is not borne out out of a personal feeling but one imposed by people poiting the fingers and trying to impress their beliefs on others.
The thing I will never understand is why people think it OK to denounce others . Nobody is forcing them into Gay relationships and sex so quite frankly it is none of their business.
They are entitled to feeling distaste but no right to try and impose those feelings to others. As long as it does not hurt someone then live with it.
Time for some people to grow up and realise that we humans come in a variety of shapes and forms, sexualities, beliefs, ideologies, colours and races.
Someone's truth is not necessarily another's.
If Homosexuality is so repellent to you then don't practice it. Pure and simple.
If there is a God and he /she is enough of a jerk to judge his/her children for making them the way they are then maybe one should leave the judgement to Him/Her. Keepit zipped until eternal judgement day. Surely then your deity/supreme being will enact his vengeance with enough potency to make it obsolete for all this hatres, intolerance and bigotry on earth.
