You say we do not live in a chaotic system. So you jump to the conclusion that there must be some being with dominion over the world. It is too big of a jump in logic. To find the truth you need to slow down the process.

There are countless other possibilities to explain the order of our world. The explanation that there is some entity with dominion over the world is just one possibility.

Also, many would argue that we do live in a chaotic system. Yet order sometimes forms, temporarily. And then receeds back into a chaotic state later. Nothing is permanent. Someday this entire planet, and all of us we be particles traveling through outer space.
I am not interested in speaking of entropy or when our sun explodes and takes us with it.

I see man as having Dominion. If you have another option or comment good. If not then I guess we are done here.

DL

Do you have no conception of just how vast "space" really is? Humans are not yet space-faring creatures. Simply visiting a couple very VERY close points within spitting distance doesn't count.
I did not call us space faring.
I said we have Dominion over space. If you want I can say a small part of space or near space or whatever pulls your crank then fine. It does not make a lie out of the truth I spoke.

Since we were no met with any complaints or interference where we have been then one can extrapolate that there is no limit to our Dominion there.

Can we get back on topic.

I think it's rather presumptuous and arrogant of us to think that we have dominion over the world, the only thing that we have dominion over is ourselves, this world, this planet, was here long before the first footprint of man ever set its mark upon it, we are a rather arrogant species are we not to think otherwise, our entire race may one day disappear from this world and yet this world will still be here. We do not have dominion over this world, only ourselves.

Yes and we control our environment or at least most of what we want to control or can control.

Look again for the first time. We have dominion over the world.

And once we have destroyed the environment, we destroyed ourselves and we will cease to exist and then the world will go back to what it was before we were here. So no, we really do not have dominion over this world, we only think we do. One cannot live without the other and one does not have dominion over the other.

Praise be secularism !!!

hey, ease off!

any thought of dominion ought to come from a great and humbling experience. that would take care of it!

it's not that you can just take this for granted ... anymore.

We only have dominion while we're here. It still belongs to God no matter what anyone thinks. You will not have dominion once you are dead. God can and will do with ours, and any other planet, anything He wishes. Of course He wouldn't destroy it but we are by our actions. How could God trust us with other things if we can't be trusted to take care of this world?
