The answer to your question is basically......NO! Today, most cable and satelite tv has numerous programs that have sexual and swearing things in them. Most Christian people don't want/like that kind of programming, but (unfortunately) the Christian religion DOESN'T make up a very large part of society today! I've seen a few scenes from the last Night Rider show and from the old Las Vegas tv show that came extremely close to being porn on tv! And, the language that I've heard on some of todays shows is just out right unreal. But, as stated above, that is what most of society today wants!
Please tell me, what programming is wholesome and would be approved by Jesus today?
I use to watch those home improvement shows, now they are mostly run by homosexuals.
I use to let my kids watch Disney shows, now most are created and star homosexuals.
The news is filled with sex, violence and corruption.
The teen shows teach kids many ungodly principles.
Can a christian own a television hooked up to cable, satellite or jut a plain antenna in today's world and not bring sinful programming into the home?
Why so homophobic?...So you can't watch or listen to the news...No Disney movies, etc.....You need to live in a shack in the bush perhaps. I don't know if it's a good idea for you to visit this forum....There are evil atheists here, and all sorts of mean nasty people that aren't even jesus lovin' Christians.

Nope. You should unplug your cable, shut down your computer, turn off the tv, and huddle in a prayer closet.
Seriously...I have cable. I tend to watch mostly Discovery Channel, History Channel, and sports. I don't know that God would have an issue with me watching Deadliest Catch.

No kiddin, man, and a few of them dagberned homosexuals, too... So quick, shut off the computer before it catches teh gay!
There are tons of shows on TV/cable that are inoffensive. If you get digital cable you have a code you can enter to block individual programs or entire channels.
Get DirectTV... there is a whole crap ton of religious programming. Lots of Spanish shows as well, if you're into that kind of thing.
