The Bible shows us that Christ will return after the Jewish people return to the land of Israel, and Jerusalem. According to the latest demographics, between the years 2030 and 2040, most Jewish people on earth will be living in the land of Israel.

Jesus said, the generation that sees Israel become a nation, will not pass away until all end time prophecies be fulfilled. Israel became a nation in 1948, that would mean those where were born in 1948 would be no older than 92 years of age in the year 2040.

The Old Testament tells us in Hosea 6:2. "After two days He will revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight". One of Gods days = 1000 years. If we Christians are to be raised up on the third day as Christ was, and this time period started right after Christ was resurrected. Well then, Gods third day would begin in the year 2034. Which just happens to be in the same time period as the generation that saw Israel become a nation. And it just happens to fall in the same time period, as the majority of Jews living in Israel in the future. It is doubtful, that these (THREE) time agreements, have only occured, because of coincidence.

I heard the statistic that 150,000,000 people should then also be living throughout the Sahara Desert. The technology can accommodate life underground.

And how would that statistic, relate to the return of Jesus Christ?

Campbell - you cited something scientific!! Can you also post the link supporting your claim? After Israel, NY has the second highest number of Jews. How do you plan to send them back to "the land of Israel"? A few I knew wanted to go golf in Palm Beach, not Israel. Seems JC will have to wait a lot longer than 20-30 yrs.

See, Tom and probably most of us older posters will be dead by then, so he does not have to back up his claims - he is pulling a Jack van Impe on us as even that dork knows he has phailed on so many accounts of predicted returns that it is safer to predict a date where you will be suffering from Alzheimer's/dementia than to use even a scenario of 2012

There is a very detailed prophecy in the Bible that speaks about America in the last days. God adresses the Jewish people and tells them to flee. The Bible tells us, that America will be threatened by nations that will want to destroy her. And this will continue for a period of 2 years. In that time, the Bible tells us, that many people will be returning to the lands from where they came from. God directs the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem. Yet at the end of the two years, America will be attacked. The Bible tells us, all of her cities will burn, and her end will come in one hours time. It also tells us, that no one will ever be able to live in the land again, and no one will even be able to remove a stone to be used in a foundation somewhere else, because the land, will always be polluted. Scripture also tells us, that all the other nations that are close by, will also be destroyed. It speaks of a time were there is a complete break down in government, and it's leaders begin fighting with each other. It is during this time, when other nations move against her.

According to the link below, and information found on page 5, under Projections for the Future, it states.

Between the years 2030 to 2040 the majority of Jews will be living in Israel rather than in the Diaspora, where communities are aging.

2012, is just one more date that will come and go, and it will give people a false sense of security that all prophecies in the future can be dismissed. The Bible has way to many detailed prophecies that are being fulfilled, and it would be foolish, to ignore them.

World Jewish Population | Latest Statistics
(a) The study you quoted says it is the Jewsih population in Israel, as a percentage of total jewish population in the world, will increase BECAUSE of
-- low birth rates among Jews not in Israel
-- high birth rates among jews in Israel
Note, at the 2050 tipping point, it still leaves about the half of Jews living outside Israel. Hope JC does not ignore them.

You are trying to "give cause" to the population projections. These projections are as a simple result of birth rates, and not related to your interpretation of the bible. You seem to pick an event, cite a scientific source, then provide ("spin") a wrong explanation (migration, atomic heat generation) using the bible.

(b) Fly in the ointment - maybe, JC is coming to help the muslims! Based on link below, by 2050 Jews can reach 14.8 million in Israel while Palestenians can be around 21.7 million!! Any predictions from the bible about these muslims? Seems Allah is about to get better longer-term results in Israel than JC; JC better hurry up.

(c) You keep on talking about god's predictions about America. Assuming you mean the US, do you know if god even had a 1 line prediction of the birth of US? I mean, something with a name and a year - not "... a great nation shall be born" type of stuff. Again, resist the urge to pick a non-specific quote and spin it into a prediciton of the brith of the US.
