"It's your faith against my faith, therefore we are equal."
Good point.
My faith is in something.
Your faith is in nothing.
With that said I appreciate your view that you operate in faith. A truth that few atheists will admit to.
But my faith is not just an intellectual excercise. I have a long list of "experiences" that reinforce my view that God is real. Plus the logical idea of cause and effect when it comes to origins.
First a God was invented, then brainwashed into believing oneself being a supremacist?
Firstly, why God was invented? Because human people don't know a lot of things so the easiest way is to invent a God and to live happier.
Secondly, some people did use and even they use nowadays the concept of God to rule people's minds. Why do they do that? Because those people can get a lot of money and power.

That is what I think.
Wow. God's a business.
Now, God wasn't invented. He acted, and then His story was told. It has nothing to do with us being happy or not, although I can't imagine being happy if I thought that I was on this earth solely because of cellular reproduction, and for the purpose of eating, breathing, and procreating. It's a lot better to know that I am doing someone's will here on Earth. I have a purpose, and when I'm done, I'll go to a much better place.
Second, God is not a mind-control device. I think that you've got your Judeo-Christian religions mixed up. The Muslims are the ones claiming that promiscuous women cause earthquakes. Now, sure, some Christian preachers may speak blasphemies and try to instill fear in their followers for their own personal gain. That's between them and God, but don't EVEN try to intertwine the two.
Which one was it that said god told him he needed 8 million dollars or he would die?
