Then either get used to feeling you live next door to/underneath etc an indoor playground, or move. Kids for most part have all the rights and call all the shots these days, and your situation certainly won't help that.

or perhaps you might have noticed that the last few posts are in response to someone who added their own question on 3/20/18

And to that poster, I add agreement to the person who said "move." Landlords kids out rule you by orders of magnitude so they will complain about you and you will get zero sympathy from the landlord

I don't know because I'm not the downstairs neighbor, but people with kids have a higher tolerance to noise of their own kids, than strangers do. So whether your kids are being too loud, depends on the hearer.

If you wanted to dull the noise, put carpet on the floor. If you have carpet, then that indicates that the neighbor might be too sensitive.

Also, some loud noises are ok to a person, but other noises are super annoying. it's the type of noise that they are objecting to, not the volume.

Then a new thread can be render. Hijacking a thread comes to mind. So yes I'm observant and respectful of the original poster (thread starter) .

Being a downstairs Dad with two children and there is a single mother with two kids who stomp so badly my glasses and plates rattle. I like a good ole santa claus parade for about an hour and a half. Im not into hours long concerts
But dayum listening every day 7 days a week to two kids literally trampoline accracross the floor/ceiling is a bit much! For those who live in their own house or upstairs trade places and we can see how your sense and sensibilities last. and yes parenting 101 needs to apply. Like how unaware are people?
