Okay, them making noise like playing music on on them, but the noise YOU make and your stomping nonstop is on you!!!! Keep in mind that the reason they bang on the ceiling is in response to YOUR noise.

Yes they should keep it down but you as an upstairs neighbor should also be considerate and realize you're not the only person in the building and show some courtesy by walking in a reasonable way. And yes sometimes being considerate means waking especially sure to walk softly past 10 PM and refrain from using the vacuum cleaner after that time too.

When they start paying my rent is when i will start being considerate of them. Until then what they think is not my concern as long as i am not violating any noise laws.

That's not a great attitude for someone living in a space with shared walls. You're just lucky no one lives above you. A little consideration goes a long way.

Nice. Tenants like you are the reason I want to buy a house.

Old joke:
Young man moves from Edinburgh to London.
On a visit back home, his parents ask him what his neighbors are like in his rooming house.
He says they are noisy, forever banging on the walls and ceilings.
Parents ask him what he does about it.
He says, nothing, I just keep playing my bagpipes.
