I rent an apartment from a premier provider of luxury apartment communities in Southern California .
My apartment was flooded two days ago because of the landlord. I was forced to remain without home for a few days.
The landlord took over the restoration of the apartment, but I'm not sure that it will be safe for health issues (sewer flooding). Also I have no rental insurance.
I would like to my about my legal rights in this case. Is it possible to require relocation to another apartment in this complex or to compensate the rent.
