My previous rental company sold the duplex building that I'm currently residing in a few months ago, and moved all of the tenants here to a different company. We were given zero heads up, just a letter out of nowhere last week saying "Welcome to Smart Asset Realty" we'll be coming to change the locks Wednesday December 18th and etc etc. So I'm thinking it "Okay

Complexes get bought and sold all the time and management companies get changed all the time. The only thing you need to concern yourself with is the name that goes on how rent check

That's OK. Didn't really need to read any further.

The letter is all that you are legally entitled to and 4 days notice that they are coming to change the locks is more than enough notice. The norm is 12 to 24 hours for landlord access.

If you have any more issues, just add them a paragraph at a time.
