If you've done a recent credit check on a prospective tenant, how do you do it?
I'm looking for a roommate, which means I need to do this every two or three years, so it doesn't make sense for me to sign up for a subscription, just a one-off deal.
We use TenantBackgroundSearch.com and have been very happy. Their reports are thorough, clear, and easy to understand. You put in the info, the tenant gets an email to verify you can run their credit (all credit checks will require this), then you get the report. We get their most thorough one which is only $29.99 and we charge $35 per adult as the application fee.
Thank you both.
