Wow, I'm shocked. Talk about severe mis-management. Having worked for large management companies, I can't even begin to imagine letting an entire portfolio go like that. It didn't have to come to that and the people that let it should be ashamed they messed with people's lives like that.
Here in New England it's happened to many apartment buildings, too. Very scary.
