Yesterday I was killing time looking at used cars online. I came across an ad for a 1992 Olds Achieva SCX.
If you're not familiar with the SCX, it was Old's attempt to make a performance version of the Achieva. I don't think many were built (less than 2,000 I think), so it's fairly rare. The car for sale was in the Cleveland area, only had 18,000 miles on it, loaded, and had not been driven winters. They were asking $14-15,000.
So for fun I looked up the car's value on KBB. Even with that low mileage, it wasn't valued more than 4K. Wow. I'm curious how the story ends.
