No, you didn't touch a nerve, but brought something to the surface of which I was unaware. As I said in my post, I did not know there were "in" and "out" groups.
It is very interesting to me that not only would someone promote ostrasizing and gossip, but the fact that it is a male is fascinating.

I "understand" that you are smug and think you're especially clever for alluding to me, apparently, in your childish gossip . . . there is no "irony" in that - you just got caught being immature and snarky.
If you want to gossip about someone, just do it - don't make a big production out of it.
Here's a poll I've thought about: Which regular poster in this Retirement Forum would you most like to see disappear? I have three or four names I would put in the poll, two of which I find really, really annoying (and on a consistent basis). Naturally I'm not going to put the poll up; it would be against the TOS and in addition would be cruel. I suppose anybody wishing to guess which two people I have in mind will have to DM me.
Of course I am well aware that there may be folks who would put me in their poll if they were creating one. LOL

Wow, I've long respected your posts, didn't expect this of you. The ugliest part of internet forums, imo, is how folks gang together privately to pile upon others. Very junior high. I'm sad that you buy into that.

I read something about women being better at multi-tasking than men, and I wanted to say there is scientific evidence that indeed they are. I looked through the thread about male versus female attitudes toward retirement, but no, wrong thread. Maybe my problem is that the thread was not in the Retirement Forum. Does anyone recall seeing something about men being poor at multi-tasking?
