You don't subscribe to Netflix and state that you won't do so, but now you have a dilemma because you want to watch original programming developed by Netflix solely for Netflix subscribers.
That's exactly why Netflix began developing their own content: to broaden their subscriber base and get people like you to subscribe. It may not happen based on this one series (although it appears you're already conflicted), but if they continue developing such series, they're more likely to get you and others like you to subscribe.
There's an old saying about wishing in one hand and ---- in the other. That is what Netflix can do while waiting for me to subscribe.
If the program is solely for Netflix, I'm proud for them and I'll just have to get over it won't I. I'm sure not losing any sleep over the issue. The subject was kindly brought up, I gave my thoughts. Those thoughts were that it would be nice to see it on DirecTV but oh whelllll, if it that never happens

Wow! That is a strong reaction. I am also wondering why...
Oh, guess I should have explained better. I can't afford the $8.99/month.
You can fork out $80 a month for Direct TV and can't afford $9 a month for Netflix?
We gave up Direct TV a couple years ago. We have Netflix, Hulu Plus, and about 1000 channels through my Roku, including Smithsonian, PBS, A&E, History Channel, etc. When my Direct TV bill hit $80 a month with no premium channels like HBO etc., I said enough is enough.
I watched the Grace and Frankie series. Lily Tomlin was the best out of all four. I could have done without the men kissing scenes, but, hey, it's life.
Jane Fonda actually apologized for Hanoi Jane in, I think, the AARP publication not too long ago.

For some, that apology will never, ever be accepted.
This Vietnam vet hasn't forgotten Hanoi Jane's past. I'll just leave it at that.
Here is some real irony - now she looks like Nancy Reagan. Seriously, if they were to do a movie on the Reagan White House, sentiments like yours would be the only reason not to cast her.
