I'm 143-but I lie about my age. Ok, I'm in my mid-50s. The last 10 years, my weight has ballooned thanks to menopause-which is actually the cause of all my ailments-hot flashes, hormonal, etc. Other than that, I'm fairly healthy. I don't take any prescription drugs but I do take supplements. For the past month or so, I have been on an exercise routine-I "run" up & down the stairs at least 4 times and I do 30-second planks. I do that about 4-5 times a day so I am starting to build muscle.

The only issue I really have (beside all the menopause crap) is that I am legally blind-but that has nothing to do with my health-only the health of my vision.

64 today and for the first time in years I’m in excellent health. I could do with losing another 20lbs and hope once I get back to daily swimming and stick to paleo (after eating a decadent birthday cake) it will come off.
Emotionally I’d say I have finally found peace with all my losses and have a lot of love and joy in my life. I feel grateful.

I'm "about" 18 to 80. I often forget at just what point I am in that span. And I've been blessed with excellent health, all that time and haven't even begun to slow down yet.

I take supplements and some herbal stuff so I don't have to take as much prescription medicine. Overall, I'd say my health is not bad. I still have more good days than bad days.

My husband is 72, takes absolutely no medication at all. Drives me nuts. Ha!! He takes a few supplements when I put 'em in front of him. Yes, he has some things that most aging people have (degenerative disc disease) plus non-diabetic foot neuropathy, so I research, research. Alzheimers is rampant is his family, so we're trying to stave that off.
sorry about your health, but you've got to do what you've got to do ---sometimes genetics gives one a bad hand......and life events as well.....the problem w/ threads like this is that some of us boast without realizing that there are folks not so fortunate, often no fault of their own....I guess my point is that those who are healthy should feel blessed/thankful and fell fortunate (I do).

70 and I've noticed lately that I am not as steady on my feet as I once was easily losing my balance. I am not as fast and have problems running any distance at all.

It could be worse but I have Type 2 diabetes that is controlled by taking two Metformin pills twice a day with dieting. My A1c generally hangs around 6.2 to 6.7 so I suppose it could be worse.

My doctor prescribed high blood pressure medication and today my blood pressure is generally 125/80. Before the meds it was around 145/100 so never really bad.

63, stage 1 prostate cancer survivor recently -- recovering from prostactomy at the moment which has it own debilitating effects . . . basically good health otherwise, a little arthritis, good BP, slightly overweight, slightly elevated glucose. Wife is 61, stage 4 ovarian cancer survivor, now dealing with the effects of whole brain radiation to take care of brain metastases. Good health other than that, which is a lot.

I'm in fair health at 65. I've have hbp since my 40s but it's controlled. Just found out I have stage 3A ckd probably from having hbp for so long.

I struggle with my weight, anxiety and depression, but I'm functional. Also going for a recheck in 2 weeks for high lymphocytes. Hoping it's not CLL. (Cronic lymphocytic leukemia), and that it's just a temporary elevation.

Borderline cholesterol. 200. My ratio is good, though, as is my hdl. So no need for meds at this time, as per my Dr.

So that's it. Aren't you glad you asked. Lol
