Not sure where to ask this question....but here goes. I can`t seem to keep my eyeglasses clean. I have some cleaner that came from when I got my new glasses, and I also use Zeiss lens wipes. It seems as soon as I blink, my glasses are dirty again. Is there an eyeglass cleaner that anyone can recommend.

I put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle it works great. I got the idea from some expensive spray I got at the optometrist. When I checked the ingredient on this 8 oz bottle of $8.95 spray, it simply said "isopropyl alcohol". Spray, then wipe with a soft cloth, paper towel, or tissue.

A combination of wipes, liquid cleaner and clothes. I know the feeling and am sensitive to dirt on lenses.

I also use those little satiny cloths that usually come in the case with new glasses. I keep one in each of my glasses cases, and use it before putting my glasses on. I imagine you could ask at any optician for a few of them. They probably just hand them out if you ask.

I use Dawn and toilet paper. As far as blinking, is that just an expression, or are your eyelashes actually contacting the lenses? I have had to tell the optician that having my eyelashes contact the lenses is unacceptable.

Thanks for all the advice. Will try them all, until I find one that works.

I bought an ultrasonic cleaner for thoroughly cleaning my eyeglasses. Use just 2 drops of liquid detergent in distilled water:

Works like a champ.

I had the same issue and it is a result of the protective coating on the glasses that although provide protection against scratches that coating is a magnet for dust. For the last couple of years I have purchased my glasses online from the Eye Buy Direct company which I am very pleased with their product and order them without the protective coating. I have to just be careful with them to avoid scratches, but for me that is easy to do because other than not wearing them when I shower I wear them all my waking hours and they go in their protective case a bedtime or for some reason I have to take them off during the day which I rarely do as I can't see much without them. Someone who wears their glasses intermittently taking them on and off
putting them down on a desk, etc. frequently which is a risk for scratching I would not advise to go without the protective coating.

Don't get Anti Glare either, it seems to make the glasses cloudy often
