Do you have a favorite pet you remember or a current one you'd like to tell about?

A funny story or a special trick you taught? Post a picture if you'd like.

No special guidelines for this thread so whatever you want to say about your pet(s.)

I've owned kitties since I was four-years-old. Along the way I also had a spaniel and assorted other creatures but I soon realized that kitties was my thing and that my house feels like it is missing something unless there is a cat or two around.

I'm in my mid-seventies know and the count is at fifteen including a couple of grand-cats who came to stay temporarily and became part of the household. That isn't counting a couple of batches of kittens for whom we found homes with people we knew and one odd little prize angora whose whole family died and was sent to live with us until he was done nursing. He was a few weeks behind his foster siblings and always seemed a little confused that he couldn't do the things they were doing.

We lost our old girl last August and adopted a pair from the Humane Society in the fall. Having had cats in the past who didn't get along I am relieved to say that these two are fast friends so far.

Here they are, Emma and Cooper at about one-year-old.
