We live at least 10miles from town, so I always try to pack as much stuff into my trips as possible. Usually it ends up being something like ... go to the pharmacy to refill prescription, hit Home Depot for a couple things, Walmart for a few more things, pick up a pizza at Papa Murphy's, and then hit the "good" grocery store before heading home. I'm POOPED when I'm done. All that driving, and parking, and standing in checkout line, loading the car, etc, etc.

Default Not to scare you...

We just lost an employee unexpectedly. It was a pulmonary embolism. It was a blood clot that went to her lung. I'm told it would have been instant.

She was 66.

Went to the doctor; got all check ups.

One client of ours told me she told him she had been feeling tired lately.

If there is a test for PE, please look into getting that done.

I had never even heard of it.

At 72 sometimes when snow shoeing at 11,000 feet I can get exhausted. But I sure sleep good.

A few weeks ago I was extremely tired for a few days. I felt sickish. I took a nap in the afternoon for an hour or two so that I could prepare dinner and stay up long enough to do enough stuff to get tired enough to sleep through the night.

My husband and I are just getting over Covid — the head cold variant with razor-blade throat. We are on week three and still really exhausted. He is 81, I’m 72 — both of us are usually really healthy and active.
Never had this level of exhaustion before…..

I'm impressed. Last winter I put my skis over my shoulder and hiked uphill from about 9,000 to about 10,000 in knee-deep soft snow. I was definitely out-of-breath and my pulse was extremely rapid - perhaps dangerously rapid.

But then I set my skis down in the snow, clicked into the bindings, pointed them downhill, and life was wonderful again. I did not do it again.
