I don't know if I should be honored or threatened.
As to pickup trucks, they may not do the heavy dirty work all the time but they may do it some of the time......and not everyone can afford to have a 40 Grand truck and then something else.

Reminds me Toby Keith's "I ain't as good I was once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was". My Dad kept his old Ford pickup truck until he died at the age of 93. It served its purpose.
Yeah, we can buy a Jeep Wrangler (apparently with normal old-fashioned controls), but, it's not a maintenance free rig (if I could even get into it without killing myself). They retain their value. But, might be a pain owning from a maintenance perspective.
Another actual retro iconic vehicle (being brought back) is not available here in the US.
