The thing is I just walked home from the gym and without the breeze and wind it would be totally comfortable. Overall, the last few weeks would've been great if it wasn't for this constant wind. I mean, besides other reasons not going so well for me here, this is one of those little things that will drive me out of the area. It's just not fun to be outside right now, usually a sunny 55 degree day would feel like 75 after what we've been through but thats just not the case here. It's pretty depressing.
The East Coast is very windy. Look how far we are out into the Atlantic. Boston is actually the windiest city in the US., forget Chicago.
It will get better as we move into warmer weather.
I'm on the westside and there has literally been a breeze for two weeks really...not joking. Cranston seems better.
edit: Was going to say two weeks since it has gotten warmer, I'm sure it has been windy for longer than that but before the temps have gone up, you just want to run for cover so that doesn't count.
You can't say today isn't gorgeous! I was out with the sun roof and windows down. It's the kind of glorious early spring day I love here.
I appreciate your positivity my friend but another almost nice spring day was once again ruined by this constant annoying wind. Ugh.
Try to adjust and don't be discouraged. The wind dies in May. This year hasn't been normal. But, the reality here is this:
Spring: Early April - Mid June
Summer: Mid June - Mid August
Fall: Mid August - Early November
Winter: Mid November - Early April
Spring comes later at the water and earlier inland. Fall comes later at the water and earlier inland.
Others will surely disagree. But, I like heat and not 5 month long winters. And, 50 degrees isn't Spring!

I'm crossing my fingers you're not playing with my emotions.

97 right now and 2% humidity here. The Easter bunny just burst into flames..
I think we may need a lesson on how to look up weather on wikipedia or the weather.com. But then again I just moved from Houston where it is hot as hell for almost 6 months (I love heat) but they citizens complain and when we had decent weather in the winter folks bitched about how cold it was. Never do they open their car windows or home. Then again when living in Chicago it always amazed me that people always acted shocked when winter would arrive...like it would ever change, but then again in San Francisco there was not summer....well there was but it is one month long the fall.....moving on to Portland....all the rainy days...we use to say but look how green it is....of course that was because we took legal drugs (coffee, beer and wine) to soften the constant drizzle.
We live in a world full of weather....not a vacuum. Adjust or move....or do what we do...FT Lauderdale once a year in January.

If weather were the most important thing in life, we'd all live in San Diego!!
