Raimondo, who has been widely speculated to being considered for the Commerce post, is now a front-runner, Axios reported on Monday."

This has actually been one of President-elect Biden's most difficult decisions. Where to put this woman where she can't do for the country, what she's done for Rhode Island. How many sleepless nights do you suppose that this poor man has endured?
President-elect Joe Biden is "set to tap" Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo as his commerce secretary, according to The New York Times.
Times reporter Jonathan Martin reported the news in a tweet, attributing the information to a Democrat familiar with the pick.
There has been no response yet from Raimondo, who is due to emerge from the quarantine she has been in since an exposure to someone infected with COVID-19.
The tweet was followed by a New York Times story headlined: "Biden Picks Rhode Island Governor for Commerce Secretary."
The story began: "President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr. is expected to announce Gina M. Raimondo, the governor of Rhode Island, as his commerce secretary, a key economic position given the agency’s critical role in everything from technology policy to climate change to promoting American industry, according to a person familiar with the decision."
Dan McKee as Governor would be a MASSIVE improvement!!!
