It was newly built in the 2000s and mainly caters to professionals as it only has 1 & 2 bedroom units. It features a clubhouse, pool, and fitness center. Rents are generally in the $2,000 to $3,500/month range.

Also, the place isn't exactly new. Those places can rapidly go to he## over the years if they aren't properly kept up and the tenants aren't taken care of. Not saying that's what happened here, at all (I honestly don't know). But this is a reason why you see opposition to apartment complexes even if they are first marketed as "luxury". And I know there were some unhappy people back in the early 00s when this place first opened up.
