It is more expensive than Broughton's. It is nice that they publish their rates online.

Like I said I brought my dog to a few of the places mentioned.

Although Broughton's is bigger and cheaper, they don't take care of your dog like Swift Creek does. The one time my dog was there, he came back smelling of feces and urine. I had two give him two baths to get rid of the smell plus he was shaking and it took around 2 days to get back to normal.

I've used Swift Creek around 7-8 times without a problem. Like the ole cliche " You get what you pay for" and my dog deserves it

I recently boarded my dogs at Broughton's. They had no odor issues when I picked them up.

The dogs were well cared for. The price is very reasonable. I liked the people. It is professionally run. When we travel again, our dogs will go back to Broughton's Kennels. You can go by for a tour. No appointment needed. The tour hours are listed on the website.

This kennel had good reviews on yelp.com from other customers.

Good luck.
I too highly recommend Broughtons in the Midlothian area - used them for two years. It's a big facility, nice, out in the country, and fairly reasonable. Our dogs never minded staying there.

You may want to avoid Four Paws Pet Resort. Here's the link to the story being reported on NBC Channel 12 news this morning regarding another dog this kennel has lost.
