Hello all. Thank you for always being there to help out someone like me...
Really appreciate all the feedback/advise~.

I am going to ask you yet another question today...

This time, its about good boarding facility for my doggie.
(Starting hopefully ahead enough to make a reservation for the holiday season...)

Is there good boarding facilities around Richmond??
Maybe around midlothian/chester or even short pump area??

If there is really really good ones, we might consider driving 20min or so to
drop off/pick up my doggie...(oh, from chesterfield area...)

I would be appreciative for any info you could provide me...

Thank you in advance~.
...U・x・U...

I just recently went to visit a facility off of Staples Mills Rd. But they only care for dogs under 15 pounds. Would your dog qualify?

@Bluidblonde...
Thanks for your quick reply~.
Unfortunately, my doggie weighs about 22pounds...so won't qualify...
But thanks for your input anyway. U・x・U

Acres of Fun Kennel, Inc.

Its in Powhatan about 15 minutes west of 288 or maybe 40 minutes from Short Pump.

I live in the western end of Louisa County. I have tried kennels in Louisa and have been unhappy with them. I recently took my two dogs to Broughton's Kennel in Midlothian. Here is the website:

Home

The dogs were well cared for. The price is very reasonable. I liked the people. It is professionally run. When we travel again, our dogs will go back to Broughton's Kennels. You can go by for a tour. No appointment needed. The tour hours are listed on the website.

This kennel had good reviews on yelp.com from other customers.

Good luck.

You might try Paws Inn, just beyond Short Pump in Manakin-Sabot: Paws Inn | Your pet never had it this good.. Friends have really loved it, and it has a very loyal clientele.

Best of luck.

Holiday Pet Barn on Mountain road is great we have used them over the years for both the dog & cat.
Holiday Barn - The Fun Resort for Boarding, Grooming, Training and Day Care for Pets, Dogs and Cats in Richmond Virginia They also appear to have a facility in Chesterfield if that is more convienient.

I've been through quite of few that were mention but the one I would highly recommend is Swift Creek Animal Hospital - Pet Resort Accomodations

My dog loves it there and they treat all the dogs wonderful

Swift Creek looked nice. I gather that the dogs stay inside except when they are turned out for exercise?

It is more expensive than Broughton's. It is nice that they publish their rates online.
