that is just recently but the first ten years i was here it was pizza hut, bottoms up is a good pizza if you like french bread pizzas, i enjoy a medium crust not real thick not real thin,as i say my opinion is just that an opinion, everyone has different taste but if youve never had a real ethnic family owned pizza you cant compare,
carrinis restaurant on williamsburg road near laburnum is the closet ive found and guess what its a itailain family run business .

Check out the Italian Kitchen next to Westland Shopping Center at Parham and Broad. I haven't been there in years but it was real good. Also, Mary Angela's in Carytown (their tuna sub is the BEST and the pizza is good, too).

We just tried the new bagel place in the short pump area...New York Bagel and Deli (think that's the name) on Cox Road. I hate to knock a fellow New Yorker...but the bagels weren't that good....they were cold and hard...and we stopped there early on a Sunday morning...no excuse for bagels not being fresh and hot. We'll stick with Einsteins for now.

Default Picolla Italy

Mary Angelas also very good. Real Italian family owned resturants.
Mama zu in Oregon Hill has the best ITalian food but I don't think they do pizza.

New York Bagel and Deli is on Cox between Broad and Three Chopt, sits back a little, you have to look for it. It's in the same shopping center as Ipanema Grill. We might give them another chance....
