Hi, I'm looking for updated neighborhood information. I am looking to move to Richmond in the next few months for work. I want to live in a safe, friendly, and clean neighborhood that is close to amenities. I currently live in Fredericksburg, and am tired of the commute. I want to get a 2 bedroom apartment until I learn the area before buying. I'm renting a 2 bed 2 bath town-home now for $1150. Any prices in the short pump, west end area? Is that a good area to move to or any others you could recommend? I'm working at the VA hospital in South Richmond and have already been told to stay far from there. I'm a professional, quiet, nice, welcoming person. I want to live in a diverse area. Thank you so much!
