I remember when there were no trees on Broad Street downtown. I also remember when they first planted these trees. Now these Super trees are too large! They have grown taller than the buildings! Why would they plant trees that would grow so large? This is prime real estate and an integral part of the core revitalization. The trees block the view of the beautiful architecture along Broad and also block the view of residents and potential residents being able to see out of their windows. Signage is also blocked from the view of patrons who may be in the area to spend money. I think it looks awful. They need to be uprooted and replanted in the woods where they belong. They are simply too extreem for the main corridor of the capital city. It would not surprise me to find a family of bears living in them lol... What do you guys think?

I'm no fan of the pin oaks either. They are beautiful trees but suitable for suburban back yards, not urban thoroughfares. They are destructive to the infrastructure (sidewalks, gas and water lines, building facades and roofs). They need to come down and replaced with appropriately sized trees.
