All - My husband and I have just begun a search for a lot to build our retirement home. We're focusing for now on the area around Staunton. We haven't been able to find any information that helps us with general price questions - such as what's the trend in prices for the last two years? We have found Vamanet.com which gives access to the tax appraisals by property but nothing that averages the area to a per acre price or that gives more than a one year trend.
