How many guests are you looking to have? Two years ago, my wife and I had our reception at the
Maridor Bed & Breakfast . Was an awesome place, great atmosphere, and the co-owner was also the chef, so there were no worries about finding a caterer.
The reception room holds a maximum 80 people, if I remember right.
Also, congrats!

Look into renting Fishburne Mansion - which is owned by the City of Roanoke and located near downtown Roanoke. The city rents it out very cheap, and you can bring your own alcohol and caterer. My wife and I got married there ten years ago, and it was an awesome setting. I'd say the reception is easily 4,000 plus square feet...we had somethink like 150 guest...
