The weather today is about as nasty as it gets! But it's still technically winter I suppose.

We have been spoiled with some earlier and warmer springs the past few years and its clear that ain't happening this year. Looks like we get sunshine and 40 degrees later this week but that's about as good as it gets in the 10 day forecast. Pretty annoying.

Just checked the forecast for Raleigh, NC and it looks like it's not much nicer there either....rainy and low 40s today. That is VERY unusual for down there this time of the year...usually sunny and in the 60s by now. Spring hasn't shown up anywhere!

Hope this isn't the "Spring That Wasn't"!

Heading to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks and if their temps don't start heading up, (I'm seeing below temps there too) I told the hubby we're driving right by onto Florida!

It stinks in New England too where I am working. We got a bunch of snow and now it's ice everywhere.

Come on man. It's not even spring yet. Use this time wisely to catch up on chores, so you'll have more free time when summer hits. Besides, remember last year when all the fruit trees and vines started budding, and then it got cool again. Farming is big upstate. Summer will be here before you know it. And soon after that fall will have come and gone. Enjoy each day.

Spring doesn't start in Rochester until about halfway through April.
