I don't know if it's even open today, but the Strong National Museum of Play downtown. 2 hours may not be enough, and it's mostly indoors.

Maybe check out the Charlotte Harbor District. Walk out the pier, get an ice cream at Abbott's. Check out the lighthouse. Most of Rochester's parks are just getting ready to open for spring.

There's a fish hatchery the kids may enjoy.

That appears to be a pay sight, so I don't know. In about a month, Highland Park will be alive with a huge event celebrating our Lilacs.

Update. A local photographer just posted a picture of a purple carpet of flowers at Highland Park. He said they are called Siberian Squill.

He's an excellent photographer. His dad was the Kodak photographer that took all of the Kodak Colorama shots in Times Square.
