This is a map of the areas that flooded in 1950. Since that time Folsom Damn was built in 1955. They are currently doing spillway improvements to make sure that more floodwater can be removed from the system. You can also read more about levee improvements being done in the area but the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency and see even more flood depth maps as well as flood insurance maps and flood insurance costs.
