Probably because that folsom pride some times comes with a confederate flag, judging by the way some people are there.

Your out to lunch! Folsom is wanna be yuppy, if anything, fault-wise. Confederate flag people would be ostercized there! Insane. I mean, really, if anything it's full of Bay Area transplants, plus liberalism is in style like nobodies business...

We do have a few Bay Area transplants, but probably not as many as midtown.

Thanks for the afternoon laugh

I will refrain from saying anything about EG...for now.

How is folsom wanna be yuppie? There is nothing young, urban, or professional about folsom. Most of the intel workers live in edh or gb if they can swing it anyways. Nor is it liberal, in fact it is the most republican part of sacramento county! Full of bay transplants? They must be from brentwood and gilroy, because there are plenty of rednecks, pick up trucks, and even a rodeo in folsom. I've seen more confederate flags and bumper stickers than I care to count.

They are like orangevale people with a bit more income.

There is a reason all the classy people and custom homes are in granite bay.

To be fair, there are classy people and custom homes in Roseville too. I just can't afford those!

I haven't been to the Folsom rodeo (grew up with it in the CV though). How do you KNOW those pick up trucks & confederate flags are people who actually LIVE in Folsom? I bet they are really from Orangevale, Loomis, or Sacramento!!!

see Top 10 redneck cities ranked (5/13/13) www.abcnews.go.com/ ..Sacramento is #8 on the list
