I've been talking to my friends back in TN where I came from, and heard about how awesome the Zombie Walk was there this year. I remember going to the one in Nashville last year, and I thought What if I could organize one for SLC? So that's what I plan to do. On Friday, Oct. 13, 2012, I want to have a zombie walk organized for Salt Lake City! What do y'all think? If you're into it, check out the Facebook group I made for planning:

Hi there,

Always love to see people who take the initiative to start movements/activities in the area!

As the posters above me have said, we do have a Zombie Walk. The one this year took place in August at Pioneer Park.

The one taking place this Saturday is actually a 5k called the Undead Race where participants either sign up to be a zombie or a human. The humans get a 2 minute head start and the zombies go running/walking/crawling after. You can check it out at Night of the Running Dead | 5K Run...Creep...Crawl. As far as I understand it, they are going for a World Record with the attendance.
