I do this everywhere I go. For some reason I am curious about the cost of living in different states and it seems to be related to the cost of a gallon of milk and gas.

In Michigan gas is currently $3.79/gallon. And milk is $2.49/gallon (although I get it for as low as $1.69 at one store).

Mid grade at Chevron runs from $3.65 to $3.91 depending on which station you go to. I need mid grade for my car so I don't know what other grades costs. I buy milk but I just don't pay attention as I buy only a certain brand.

From the OP, in Utah, about the same. Ohio, where many family and friends live, they have higher on both. $3 for milk is a bargain in Akron, I'm told. We bounce around on gas. Lol
