I am in search of a area which will be closer to Cottonwood Height and very safe crime wise and offer convenient living to an elderly who wants to live independently in a Single Family House. Here what I'm looking for.

1. Senior Center with transportation.
2. Paratransit Services to home.
3. Active Companion program.
4. Friendly neighborhood.

At present I am in Taylorsville. Generally in Taylorsville crimes are high, but the area I am in is very safe. With-in last five years; no incidents at all. Please give me some suggestions to fulfill my dream. Thanks

If I were you, I would contact the Cottonwood Heights City Hall at (801) 944-7700. They would more than likely be able to answer these questions for you. Good luck. I live in Cottonwood Heights and I love it, but I really don't know the answers to your questions.

I moved out of Cottonwood Heights area. Because Those privileges were not available in that area. There is no Senior Center there. I am interested in nearby area that will be much closer than Taylorsville.

East Millcreek/Holladay maybe? Crime is on the rise in Millcreek, but it's mostly centered in the Western part closer to 700 E, so East Millcreek is pretty safe.

Here you go.. Doesn't get much safer, is in a friendly neighborhood location, and offers the services required. I do know they have a new site going in with independent villas/sfHs where the old garden center was.

Good luck!
