Does anyone know of a running track open to the public on the NW side of town?

There used to be a track over in the medical center near Wurzbach Rd/Babcock Rd. It's been years since I used it, so not sure if it's still available.

Before we moved here, every high school had a practice field with a track around it - it doesn't look like ANY of the schools around here have tracks. Is that right, or am I just not seeing any?

Yes, it's still there. It's a 1/2 mile track.

The track at the Health Science Center is all torn up--they are putting in a Spectrum there (due to open sometime this Spring). The Health Science Center is looking to put in a 6.5 mile jogging and walking trail, there as well.

There are people still using it--as of a week ago Saturday....it did look torn up, but there were joggers! I honked as I drove by on my way to Nadler's.

I saw a pretty large high school off 1604 (NISD?)--anyone know if you can run on that track?

I don't see why not. I frequently run on the track at Clark high school during weekday evenings and some weekends without any problems.
