As someone who's only a few years out of high school, the point of it is to learn how to study and prepare for college and how to get ready for the rest of life.

Plus, it's a darn good place to meet hot girls and take them out on dates before having some fun in the back seat or the bedroom

Good times.

Funny, millions of people have done that without going to traditional "school" in this country, but maybe being a few years out of high school, you wouldn't know that much about it.

"Millions" of people? Really? And believe me, I know plenty about life by now. Granted, many of my fellow college students who graduated may not know as much as some other people our age, but that doesn't mean they won't learn eventually.

School's just one of those things that help us prepare for life, there are many others. Why are you bashing school? That's what I don't get.

Yes. Really.

Teehee. Judging by the fact you'd even make that statement, and the above query, I venture we should have this discussion a couple of years from now.

I hope they discover the source of these rumors and discipline them appropriately. Not only has it cost the school district money but these vicious and unsubstantiated rumors were most likely started by cyber bullies as a way to further grief and cause problems for the wolf pack members.

Definitely expel the gossip starters and then the district should look into seeking compensation from their parents for any losses.

yep merovee everything has evil will. Did you ever think that FEAR is driving the rumors. Kind of like playing the game of telephone...one person says something and then by the end it's all twisted. I can easily see how fear would cause people to do this and parents to keep a child home. Not everything is about bullying or hate.

Though I only commented on the source of these rumors, what ignited them, I do not disagree with you that fear is driving these rumors or that is what they thrive on.

Or perhaps a day with Michael Vick would break them of this "habit".

They could make a movie about this "wolf pack" movement.....call it "Rebels without their paws."

OK, OK. I'll stop.

Kids have always done things to "fit in" or seek an identity. I admit, this is a much more odd than what I've seen previously. But I wonder if these kids will one day show pictures of themselves dressed up in their lupine garb to their grandchildren?

I'm so thankful my son chose band and football as places to fit in. He is a little hound-doggish when it comes to the ladies, but .......I'm thinking that's normal.
