I've ate there several times, including just a couple weeks ago. That place is pretty popular with military and others working on base, which normally means it's pretty safe. Guess that's more proof that the ghetto knows no lines around these parts..

Well...usually a place gets an uptick in traffic after a robbery. Lets hope they make a killing today.

Is there an article on this robbery? I didn't hear anything about it on the morning news and none of the local news websites have anything on it either.

I saw it on KSAT breaking news @ 10 o'clock. People get robbed all over town, and generally that area is safe but I am not surprised. They are a cash only business with pretty heavy traffic soooo.....

You seriously cannot let your guard down anywhere anymore. Remaining in a constant state of alert is usually how I roll. Suspecting everyone at all times in a constant state of paranoia looking at their hands. But that's just me.

Didn't even think of the cash only thing. Probably not the best idea during these times, but I suppose the merchant saves money on fees and is probably sitting in their nice safe house while some sucker is manning the store..

I got booted off woai.com because I can't play well with (I won't use the word I was going to use) not very bright people... there was no shortage of them either

and I found a plumber that actually showed up two days in a row, was very respectful, and charged less than he originally estimated. And I'm still in San Antonio. WTF?
