It is if you have lots of doves and grackles duking it out back there. They don't get along well and then the grackles are very territorial during this time of the year since they are mating. The pigeons tend to get caught in the middle of it all, is my guess.

My dog had 2 grackles swoop down on her today while she was minding her own business (and doing her business).

thanks hillcountry,

we do have grackles in our neighborhood for the first time since I moved here, so maybe there is a territory battle going on. Feel better now -- was worried that we were either A) in some bizarre Hitchcock scenario, B) in the midst of an invisible toxic plume or C) were the owners of a psycho kitty cat that had apparently upgraded from killing the random lizard to catching flying birds right out of the sky. But, will she kill those horrible cockroaches? Noooooo. Just stares at those suckers.

Anyone having water pressure issues in Westcreek? Seems like our entire home will drop pressure briefly - we won't notice until we turn on a faucet or shower and it pops and bubbles, or the pressure is just really low.

I did check for leaks, etc - everything appears fine. :\

I heard a former city councilwoman on the radio the Sunday before last. She said that only 6 out of 10 students in San Antonio are graduating from high school. If this trend continues, according to an expert, San Antonio is on the track to becoming a third world city.

The cycle is really tough to break, apparently. I can't for the life of me understand why someone would choose a life of sitting at home, drinking, smoking dope, and popping out kids would be preferable to school and being a productive member of society. But if that's what you know, and no one encourages you to get out of that environment, it's pretty obvious that that's where you'll stay. It's very sad. 6 out of 10? Come on, San Antonio.
