Regardless I do find it very helpful as a current resident to keep this thread going and I would venture to guess that potential buyers or transplants to SA might also find this thread useful. (Isn't this the basic point of City Data?)
I guess..... Makes more sense if this thread were called "SA Communities" or "Positive SA Community Comments Only" rather than "Villages of Westwood Part 2".

Based on this comment everyone reading your OP (in Villages of Westcreek Part 1) should have taken all your complaints concerning Villages of Westwood with a grain of salt?

You gotta take the good with the bad my friend.

Whether it's "good" feedback or "bad," comments here are useful if they are part of a constructive dialogue, not just dead-end ranting and picking fights from behind the keyboard. I've seen a lot on VOW #1 about things going on in WC that I didn't know about, but I've also seen how VOW #1 was used by some to foster that "us vs. them" mindset. The C-D forum is no substitute for the real thing -- taking issues in front of the HOA/BoD and pushing for action. Thanks for starting a new thread...

I believe WC is the third largest neighborhood in SA behind The Great NW and Heritage. Given this, it makes perfect sense for it to have its own thread.
I also think a lot of the recent changes (most for the better) were a direct result of people getting involved because they became informed. Kinda like what happened nationally..

BTW, there are no shortage of not so helpful threads in here and anyone can skip over them with minimal effort...

Just curious.....did the WC assessment go up this year? Surprisingly, ours stayed at $222 again. (Great NW)

Now that SilverCreek78250 is now Natalia123445667 or whatever I'm going to be even less informed than before. It's sort of surprising that we don't have our own thread. I am not sure how many other posters even live in SC or surrounding hoods???

From the latest VOWC email:

"On December 29, 2010 the brick pillar for the fence at the corner of Creek Pebble and Military Drive was struck by possibly a Suzuki vehicle and left the scene. There was some evidence left at the scene by the hit and run driver. If you see a Suzuki with damage to the left front, please contact the association offices at 210-679-8761 or contact the Bexar County Sheriff's Department in reference to case #2010-125777. Remember we are all part of this community and incidents like this cost all of us money."

Does anyone know if the HOA is owned by an individual or by the homeowners?
